Overview

This project involves the full design and fit-out of a new regional office for Arla Foods within JAFZA. The space is delivered as a shell and core, offering complete flexibility to create a modern, efficient, and brand-aligned workplace environment. The design aims to balance functionality with a clean, contemporary aesthetic suited to a global FMCG brand.

Design Intent

The vision is to create a high-performance workplace that supports collaboration, focus, and employee wellbeing. With no predefined design theme, the approach emphasizes a neutral, adaptable interior language, enhanced through material contrast, spatial clarity, and subtle brand integration.

Key elements include:

  • Open ceiling paired with gypsum features for a modern industrial feel 
  • Combination of carpet and LVT flooring to define zones 
  • Efficient spatial planning to support both collaborative and private work modes

Scope & Responsibilities

Role: Interior Designer (Lead Design – End-to-End)

  • Developed the full design concept, spatial planning, and material strategy 
  • Produced detailed layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD 
  • Created and compiled presentation packages using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop 
  • Selected and specified all finishes and materials across the project 
  • Coordinated closely with clients, vendors, architects, lighting designers, and MEP consultants to ensure design intent was achieved 
  • Managed design development from concept through to detailed design stage
